The JAG Black Prolite Lockdown Rear Grip System is precision machined from high-grade aluminium and hard anodized in Prolite grey and black. Designed to complement the JAG Prolite range, it is built to deliver outstanding performance as a rod grip. Interchangeable soft grip inserts, sold separately, allow the angler to choose how the rod is gripped. Each Lockdown is supplied with the largest size black insert, which is perfect as a 'U' rest. When fishing 'locked up', security is critical, and the Lockdown system provides it. Simply change the insert to a much tighter grip for unrivalled security. In testing, 3 times test curve was exerted on a direct pull before any movement occurred; add a slight angle and the rod never moves. Keeping a couple of larger inserts in your tackle box allows for a quick change during fishing, making the system totally flexible. The diameter of your rod handle does not matter, as there is a size to fit. Each Lockdown features an easy alignment system, with no messing with washers or 'O' rings.
