The Rhino BLX V2 is an extension of the successful brushless BLX series, now including a lightweight 60 lbs model. This electric outboard motor delivers 60 lbs of thrust at 12V, with approximately 500W of power, equivalent to around 1.5 hp. The brushless design is maintenance-free, with no carbon brushes to wear out as found in conventional motors, and it is suitable for saltwater operation. The Sport mode, activated via the S-Mode button, brings the engine straight to maximum performance, while the Vario Speed principle allows stepless speed control in both forward and reverse. The display shows battery charge, current engine power, and other useful operating conditions. Newly integrated PWM technology maximises range per battery charge, and an electronic protection function guards against overvoltage, short circuit, or overload, removing the need for an extra ballast fuse. A USB port is included for charging phones or lamps. The tiller is extendable, the shaft is made of stainless steel, and it folds up via a lever release.
