Preston Supera X Superlight ST Quiver Tip

Description

Building on the success of the Preston Supera X range, the Superlight versions offer a softer actioned option for anglers. The blanks use X wrap technology, keeping the rods exceptionally small in diameter and beautifully balanced. All models feature soft progressive actions, ideal for targeting smaller species or situations where finer hooklengths are needed, and they work well with both braid and monofilament lines. Slow taper tips throughout the range provide excellent bite detection even in adverse conditions. The Supera X Superlight 10ft is the shortest model, suited to casting distances up to 30m. It works on natural and commercial venues, ideal for small fish at close range and doubling as a winter commercial feeder rod where a soft action is required. The 11ft model is designed for distances up to 40m, making it the go-to rod when targeting skimmers and bream. Its soft progressive action cushions lunges, preventing hook pulls and lost fish. The 12ft model, a favourite of Lee Kerry, is the true all-rounder of the range. Capable of casting in excess of 40m, it retains the soft action while having enough power to propel a feeder with ease. The 12ft Float rod is designed for commercial silverfish and larger carp and F1s when they are more docile in winter. Its action allows ultra-light hooklengths if required, offers fast recovery for hitting shy bites, and is perfect for casting lightweight wagglers. - Supera X Superlight 10ft: casting distances up to 30m - Supera X Superlight 11ft: casting distances up to 40m - Supera X Superlight 12ft: casting in excess of 40m - Supera X Superlight 12ft Float: designed for commercial silverfish and winter carp/F1s
