The Ridge Monkey Hunter 750 Bait Boat Hi-Viz Edition is a special release of the portable lightweight bait and rig delivery system, finished in a high-visibility yellow. It is suited to a range of venues from large reservoirs down to canals and small ponds, and is designed for the fine, stealthy placement of rigs and bait with pinpoint accuracy. This lets you fish areas of your swim that would traditionally be inaccessible with a rod and line. The boat carries up to a kilo of bait in its fully top-loading hopper, along with your chosen rig. These boats are simple to use and do not require you to open the bay doors and feed the rig into the hopper from below, which is an improvement on some other designs. At 2.5kg including both batteries, it remains easy to carry. Propulsion comes from two whisper-quiet brushless motors with weed-guards, powered by twin lithium polymer batteries. These provide a 4-hour runtime at full speed during testing, with an easily visible and accurate power meter so you are not caught out. Each battery takes just over 2.5 hours to recharge over its USB-C port, and spare batteries are available if you want to charge some in advance for longer sessions. The supplied remote is fully sealed against the elements and carries an IP55 water and dust resistance rating, offering protection against everything bar a complete dunking. The handset features an easy-to-use thumbstick, an ergonomic design with a rubberised grip, its own rechargeable internal battery, a power meter, and its own individual USB-C charging port. It has been tested to maintain a signal at ranges of 200m.
