Description

The Shimano TX-4A is the mid-priced rod in the Tribal TX range, built around advanced carbon technology that includes T1100G high modulus carbon in the tip section for increased speed and response. The result is a rod that generates exceptional casting performance while offering fish-playing actions that inspire confidence, all at a price that undercuts much of the competition. The longer Intensity models are real powerhouses, capable of casting huge distances and reaching long-range fish, with recorded casts well in excess of 200 yards. The 12' (3.66m) models offer a balance of power and playability, while the shorter 9' (2.74m) stalker and 10' (3.05m) models suit close and mid-range fishing on smaller waters or from a boat. The tips are a standout feature, providing response, forgiveness, and cushioning not usually found in mid-priced long-range rods. Built on Full Carbon blanks with HPC (High Pressure Carbon) technology, the TX-4A also benefits from Biofibre reinforcing and Diaflash enhancement. It is fitted with Seaguide Zirconia guides and a 3K carbon weave Shimano reel seat with a small front EVA grip.
