The Drennan Acolyte 13ft Medium Feeder is a slim, light and beautifully balanced 3-piece feeder rod with a crisp, sensitive fish-playing action. It sits just below the Distance Feeder rods in terms of power and casting ability, but offers greater sensitivity and cushioning, so much lighter hook lengths and small hooks can be used with complete confidence. A full cork handle, Acolyte DPS reel seat and enlarged, critically placed guides complement a blank with reserves of power further down that improve distance casting and accuracy. The 3-piece construction gives a shorter pack down and transport length, making it a perfect rod for feeder fishing where silverfish and bream are the main target. It is best suited to feeders up to 70g and distances of 70m+, with optimum reel lines of 5lb to 10lb monofilament or 0.08mm to 0.12mm braid. The rod comes supplied with 1½oz, 2oz and 2½oz slim Acolyte carbon feeder tips.
