The Korda Shot on the Hook is a reusable tungsten weight designed to improve the hooking potential of wafters, bottom baits, and snowman rigs. By adding a heavier point to the hook, it helps the hook grab hold more effectively, turning more pick-ups into bites. The attachments are made from pure tungsten, which offers a high density-to-volume ratio, allowing substantial weight in a compact form. Each Shot on the Hook features a small rubber moulding that fits over the hook point to secure it in place. It can be slid off easily when using barbless hooks; for barbed hooks, crush the barb first before removal. The product comes in three sizes — 0.30g, 0.40g, and 0.50g — and is supplied in a slide-top storage compartment with ten shot per packet. - 0.30g: recommended for hook sizes 8, 6, and 4 with baits up to 14mm - 0.40g: recommended for hook sizes 6, 4, and 2 with baits around 16-18mm - 0.50g: recommended for larger hooks and baits of 20mm and 24mm diameter
