Guru SMWG Banded Ready Rigs 6″ Hooks to Nylon

Description

The Guru SMWG Banded Ready Rigs 6″ Hooks to Nylon are pre-tied hook lengths designed for commercial pole fishing, particularly when targeting larger fish such as F1s and carp. The SMWG is a medium wire gauge hook that balances power with clean bait presentation. Its strong wide gape and ultra-sharp PTFE-coated point suit most commercial carp fishing demands, working well with baits like hard pellets, corn, meat, boilies, and wafters. The PTFE coating also helps maintain point sharpness over time, which can reduce fish loss. These ready rigs come as 6″ hook lengths, a common middle-ground length in commercial pole fishing that balances bait presentation with hook positioning. Each rig is tied with a reliable knotless knot and features a small figure of eight loop for easy loop-to-loop connection to your main line. The rigs are pre-tied to durable N-Gauge line for consistency and performance. Each packet includes a Fish-Size Guide to help anglers, especially less experienced ones, choose the right hook size for their target species. Having two line diameter options for the popular 18 and 16 hook sizes allows for fine-tuning depending on fishing conditions. If you struggle to mount bait by hand, Guru Pellet Pliers are designed to open the bait band for quick and easy bait positioning. Each pack contains 8 hook lengths, and the rigs fit perfectly into Guru 6″ Stealth Rig Cases for safe storage and transport. The 6″ SMWG Banded Ready Rigs are available in the following sizes and line diameters: - 18 – 0.15mm (2mm Band) - 18 – 0.17mm (2mm Band) - 16 – 0.17mm (2mm Band) - 16 – 0.19mm (2mm Band) - 14 – 0.19mm (2mm Band) - 12 – 0.19mm (2mm Band) - 10 – 0.22mm (4mm Band)
