The MAP TKS 13.0m G10 Pole is an all-round pole built with Graphene impregnated into the carbon. This construction makes it highly robust while keeping the pole well balanced and light. It is manufactured on the same mandrel as the TKS 101, but the addition of Graphene increases wall strength in each section without the extra weight that comes from adding more carbon layers. Each top kit features a unique depth marker print, so you can quickly set or confirm your fishing depth. Every top kit also comes with an extra-long PTFE bush fitted as standard and a unique side roller puller. Graphene is a single layer of Graphite, the same material used in pencils. When Graphite layers are peeled away, a monolayer of Graphene remains. This layer is a single atom thick, making it a two-dimensional material. Its atoms are arranged in a hexagon or honeycomb structure, and the strength of these bonds is the main reason Graphene is so strong.
