Description

The MAP TKS 14.5m G20 Pole is an all-round pole built around Graphene-impregnated carbon. This construction is designed to make the pole robust while keeping it well balanced and light, suiting anglers who want strength without sacrificing quality or performance. The G20 is manufactured on the same mandrel as the TKS 301 and offers full interchangeability, but the Graphene allows each section to have increased wall strength without the extra weight that additional carbon layers would normally add. Each top kit supplied with the G20 features a unique depth marker print, so you can quickly set the correct depth or check what depth you were fishing at. Top kits also come with an extra-long PTFE bush fitted as standard and a side roller puller. Graphene is a single layer of Graphite, the same material used in pencils. Peeling away layers of Graphite leaves a monolayer of Graphene, which is a single atom thick and therefore a two-dimensional material. Its atoms are arranged in a hexagon or honeycomb structure, with each atom bonded to those around it, and the strength of these bonds is the main reason Graphene is so strong.
