The MAP TKS 16.0m G50 Pole uses the same mandrel as the TKS 601/701/801/901 models, so sections are fully interchangeable across the range. It is designed to offer superb balance, low weight and rigidity even at full 16 metres, and is equally at home catching big weights on commercials or fishing natural venues. As with all G Series poles, Graphene is impregnated into the carbon, which helps create a robust all-round pole that remains well balanced and light. Each top kit features a unique depth marker print so you can quickly set the correct depth or know exactly what depth you were fishing at. Every top kit also comes with an extra-long PTFE bush fitted as standard, along with a side roller puller. Graphene is a single layer of Graphite, the same material used in pencils. Peeling away the layers of Graphite leaves a monolayer of Graphene, a two-dimensional material just one atom thick. Its atoms are arranged in a hexagon or honeycomb structure, with each atom bonded to those around it, and the strength of these bonds is the main reason Graphene is so strong.
