The Fox Edges Tubing Leadclip Kit is a patented design that grips and holds tubing inside the lead clip, preventing it from sliding up the line as it can with other clips. When tubing is used to pin down the mainline or protect the flanks of fish, it is essential that it does not travel up the line during the fight, otherwise the mainline could lift scales and cause damage to the fish. The Tubing Lead Clip ensures the tubing cannot slide up the line. It features a side window that allows access inside to thread a locking funnel (witches hat) onto the mainline, which is then pushed into the tubing. When this window is replaced, the peg feature locks the swivel and the tubing in place, preventing the tubing from slipping loose out of the clip.
