Description

The Fox Frontier II X Deluxe Bivvy Wrap is an accessory specifically designed to enhance the Fox Frontier II X bivvy, providing additional protection and space. It creates a twin-skin layer over the main bivvy, which is beneficial for improving insulation during colder conditions and significantly reducing condensation inside the shelter. This wrap extends the front of the Frontier II X bivvy by an extra 60cm, establishing a covered porch area. This extended space is suitable for storing additional fishing gear, boots, and bait, helping to keep the main bivvy area clean and organised. When installed with the bivvy's front panel remaining in place, the Deluxe Wrap allows the bivvy to comfortably accommodate two bedchairs, effectively transforming it into a spacious two-person shelter. The wrap offers a versatile panel system; it can be used as a standard overwrap, or the bivvy's front panel can be entirely removed and the wrap's front panel zipped directly to the bivvy's frame for a single, larger shelter configuration. For optimal airflow, the wrap features four double-zipped vents that are precisely aligned with the existing vents on the Frontier II X bivvy, helping to prevent moisture build-up. The extending ribs of the wrap are equipped with storm pole attachments, providing enhanced stability in windy conditions. Attachment to the bivvy is straightforward, utilising a Velcro strap and D-Loop system for a quick and secure setup. A groundsheet extension is also supplied with the wrap.
