The Matrix XTR Section Protector is a purpose-built accessory designed to safeguard your valuable pole sections during fishing and transport. Crafted from high-grade, ultra-durable carbon fibre, this short carbon sleeve is engineered to absorb wear and tear, shielding main pole sections from accidental crushing, chips, and costly splits. The protector is particularly useful when holding the pole under an elbow or shipping it back rapidly over rough terrain, high banks, brambles, concrete platforms, or gravel paths. It adds virtually no noticeable weight to your setup, maintaining the balance and recovery of your pole. It comes fitted with protective, high-density EVA foam ends on both sides. These inserts act as a barrier to block dirt, mud, grit, and abrasive gravel from entering the female joints, preventing internal scoring when packing down.
