Drennan E-Sox Apex Predator Rod

Description

The Drennan E-Sox Apex Predator Rod is available in two configurations for pike fishing. The 10ft 3lb version is designed for versatility, ideal for targeting pike using float or leger techniques. Its compact length makes it perfect for roving lakes and rivers or fishing from a boat. It casts medium-sized baits with ease, and its progressive action provides a balance of sensitivity and power, allowing you to enjoy playing smaller fish while still having the strength to handle larger predators. The 12ft 3.25lb version is a two-piece rod suited to bankside or platform pike fishing, whether using float techniques or legering with deadbaits. Its powerful 3¼lb test curve makes casting large baits over long distances effortless, while the extended length improves line management and enhances float pick-up. With a progressive yet strong action, it combines sensitivity for smaller fish with the backbone needed to control and land hard-fighting pike. Both rods are optimized for reel lines of 10–15lb mono or heavier braids and feature durable double-legged SIC guides, a full cork handle, and an anti-tangle tip guide for smooth, reliable performance.
