The Daiwa Gekkabijin range was built around close-range, downsized lure fishing, where ultra-light and near-natural lures let the angler target a wide variety of species with plenty of room for experimentation. These rods combine High Volume Fibre and Braiding X to deliver a progressive action that suits a broad range of approaches. Two LRF 7'8" models are available, with a choice of tubular T or solid S tips, covering casting weights from a single gram up to 8g and 10g respectively. The rods themselves weigh under 100g. For casting lures or presenting weighted weedless soft baits through kelp, the HRF editions offer 5-20g and 7-28g casting weights. All models come with Fuji K S/Steel O-Rings and the ultra weight-saving Fuji SK reel seat. This skeletal design reduces rod weight while improving handling sensitivity.
