It is designed to take the guesswork out of pairing a balanced outfit, covering everything from small stream and river Trout fishing to larger lake and reservoir techniques for Rainbow Trout and Pike. The 4-piece Fin fly rod is a fast action model with an AA cork handle and an alloy and wood reel seat. Double foot snake guides are angled to help the line slip through more easily and reduce tangling on the retrieve. Lined stripper guides allow you to measure your strip in increments, helping you keep a consistent or varied retrieval rate when working a fly for wary fish. The Fin fly reel uses a die-cast construction from durable injection molded aluminum, finished with a multi-color polish. It features a full rulon disc brake system for a smooth drag, a fully enclosed frame to prevent line escape, and a large arbor spool for rapid line pickup. The reel comes pre-spooled with a twin colour floating fly line, where the colour change marks the sweet spot for easy identification. A front welded loop enables quick leader changes, and the backing and leader are fitted to the specifications of the Greys Fly Fishing Team.
