Daiwa Black Widow Plus Carp Rod

Description

The Daiwa Black Widow Plus 10ft Carp Rod is part of a range that Daiwa describes as the lightest editions it has ever created, combining innovative blank design with a progressive action. This delivers a rod that can hit longer distances while offering an enjoyable, forgiving fish-playing action. Lightweight skeletal guides enhance each rod's weight and tip speed. The 10ft models are suited to smaller venues, shorter casting ranges, and any boat work required, with 3.0 and 3.5lb test curve options. These offer handling and fish control, complemented by a 10ft 4.5lb Spod/Marker version. The range also includes 12ft models in 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0lb test curves, plus a 12ft 4.5lb Spod/Marker, and a 13ft 4.0lb model for distances beyond 100 yards, which in tests consistently broke the 150-yard barrier. Refinement is visible in guide positioning on the tips, with 12-inch and 24-inch markers on the spod models and subtle red strands in the thread wrapping. - Innovative blank design - Progressive power action - Lightweight skeletal guides - 12” and 24” markers on spod rods - Shrink tube grip handle - Secure lock up reel seat - Matt blank finish - Machined aluminium butt cap - Subtle red thread placement
