Harrison Raven 12ft Aviator Plus 3 Carp Rod

Description

The Harrison Raven 12ft Aviator Plus 3 Carp Rod is a premium British-designed rod engineered for serious carp anglers. Built in Liverpool, UK, on Harrison's tried and tested blanks, this rod combines cutting-edge blank technology with a hand-finished build. The blank is constructed from Toray premium carbon fibre, incorporating Harrison's thin ply carbon scrim technology and a 1K woven carbon fibre finish from tip to butt. It features a natural matt finish that is both scratch-resistant and durable. This 12ft carp rod has a test curve of 3lb 6oz, designed to offer a perfect balance of fish playing action and casting performance. It shares the same tip as the Aviator Flex but incorporates a stiffer butt section to help achieve greater casting range, making it ideal for fishing with 3 to 4oz leads. The rod delivers power for casting at distances of 120 to 130 yards, with potential for 150 yards and beyond in skilled hands, while still providing ample action for playing big carp. The Raven edition features a distinctive build with high-quality components: - Reel seat made from flexible black 1K carbon fibre (American Tackle genuine 1K carbon fibre seat with black hoods) - American Tackle 50mm Vortex stainless steel guides with Delta ceramic tips - CNC-machined black Delrin collars and buttons - Abbreviated handle - Understated decals and logos The lightweight and flexible Vortex guides allow the blank to flex freely and aid in tip recovery. This model is an all-round carp rod, offering a semi-fast action and a small step up in power and distance capability from the Harrison Torrix 3 1/4lb rod.
