Daiwa Saltist Travel Rod

Description

The Daiwa Saltist Travel rod is a four-section travel rod that delivers a smooth, seamless curve when casting and playing fish, despite its multi-piece construction. The V-Joint Alpha system provides notable flex and strength, producing a near-perfect loading shape that can rival a two-piece design. The rod remains slim and light in hand thanks to a combination of carbon technologies: HVF, X45, and 3DX. HVF (High Volume Fibre) raises the modulus grade without adding weight. X45 Bias Carbon Construction controls torque, boosting casting energy and improving accuracy. 3DX acts as an exoskeleton, with carbon fibres interwoven into a rigid honeycomb; fibres running in three directions optimise force distribution by increasing power and resistance to compression. The 4-piece 7-foot and 5-piece 8-foot models handle mainstream lure weights from 14g to 42g. The longer 4-piece 8-foot 6-inch version comes in two casting weight ranges: 28-84g and 80g to 140g. Each rod offers a highly responsive tip for easy lure propulsion, and all models come with a protective travel case. - HVF - X45 - 3DX - V-Joint Alpha - Fuji 'O' Ring Guides - Fuji reel seat - Multi Section assembly for compact pack down - Rubber Gimbal - Protective travel case supplied
